Anyway, LCD prices had drop alot. A bigger and widescreen LCD monitor can give you a better and fuller view of your document. Good for gaming, dvd movies, open 2 windows side-by-side.
LCD do not flicker as of the CRT, therefore Refresh rate is not a problem.
VGA jack on a ENZER E5548 DVD player
LCD monitor with a VGA output can be plugged to a dvd player with a VGA inteface jack (quite similar to those plug on your VGA graphic cards). DVD player such as the ENZER E5548, which feature a VGA jack, allowing a VGA monitor to be connected. In this case, you could use a LCD monitor (preferably a Widescreen 19" and above) to watch your favourite DVD in Widescreen.

Tips and Tricks: Please set your LCD monitor to optimal resolution, before you plug it to the DVD player. You might want to adjust to its highest resolution while still connected to your PC.
By doing so, you can be sure you are viewing at maximum best resolution.
Else, the picture quality will suffer. After this, turn off your PC and connect the VGA cable to your DVD player's VGA jack/plug. Switch on DVD player, follow by the LCD monitor.
Adjust the DVD output to VGA using the DVD remote control. Now you are watching movies on a LCD monitor.

For an even more affordable setup, get a normal 17" LCD monitor. Recently, its price had fell from $399 to $299, still going down, in one year period.

If you have big bunk to throw get Samsung or LG LCD widescreen tv. A 32" will suffice, 26" or 29" also available.
